COVID Vaccine Incentive Program

The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) recognizes the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on disadvantaged communities, including many communities of color, which account for a large share of the Medi-Cal beneficiary population. Partnership HealthPlan of California (PHC) has developed a Vaccination Response Plan to improve vaccine access and to develop the infrastructure to support this work.

Community Grants

The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) recognizes the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on disadvantaged communities, including many communities of color, which account for a large share of the Medi-Cal beneficiary population.

Partnership HealthPlan of California (PHC) has developed a Vaccination Response Plan to improve vaccine access and to develop the infrastructure to support this work. PHC has allocated $3 million toward grants to support our community partners’ efforts to increase access to COVID-19 vaccinations for identified vulnerable populations within our 14 county network: Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Lassen, Marin, Mendocino, Modoc, Napa, Shasta, Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, Trinity, and Yolo counties.

Provider Incentive Program

PHC will distribute DHCS-funded incentives to providers per vaccinated member or per entry into CAIR of prior documented vaccines.

Community Grants

PHC has allocated $3 million toward grants to support our community partners' efforts to increase access to COVID-19 vaccinations for identified vulnerable populations.

Member Incentives

PHC will distribute DHCS-funded incentives of up to $50 to any member vaccinated as part of this program. Distribution strategy includes provider/clinic-based vaccination events and community-based vaccination events.
