Medi-Cal Renewal

Once a year, Medi-Cal sends a renewal packet for you to
complete to see if you still qualify to receive Medi-Cal benefits.
Medi-Cal stopped this process during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure coverage for members during that uncertain period. However, as of April 1, 2023, California has begun renewal processing once more.

You must complete the Medi-Cal renewal package to be sure you keep your health benefits. Each person's renewal period is different. Some members may have already gotten a packet in the mail. Others will get theirs in coming months. For help completing your renewal form, visit the Enrollment Navigator.


SCAM WARNING

Scammers have been trying to contact Medi-Cal members asking for a fee to renew their overage. Medi-Cal will NOT ask you for payment to renew your coverage. If someone asks you for money to renew, do NOT give it to them. If you have questions regarding the status of your coverage, please contact our Member Services Department at (800) 863-4155, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. TTY users, call (800) 735-2929 or 711.
